Bath Time!!

Jack loves to take baths! He splashes around like crazy and kicks his legs.
This reminds me of one of my and Mandie's favorites of AJ!
AJ keeps us entertained by playing hide and go seek, singing, laughing, splashing Jack...you name it!
AJ is allowed in after Jack has a few minutes to himself - before he starts getting knocked over and pushed out of the way!
What is it about bath pics that are so adorable??!!

The State Fair

We picked AJ up from school on opening day of the Fair. It is the best time to go (believe me we went the following Sunday and had the opposite experience!) We parked right in the Fairgrounds & no wait for the rides!
AJ was ready...we started off with the carousel and the train but then graduated to this roller coaster and later the catepillar coaster with mom. He had a blast and kept his hands up the whole time - he had no idea why I told him too but laughed like crazy!
Jack hung in there and let us play and eat .. he definetly had some corn dog envy..this boy is tired of purees!

Welcome Baby Duncan!

Congratulations Karen and Duncan - baby Duncan is so beatuiful! Happy Birthday lil man - we will meet you soon!!

SOCCER!!!

AJ started soccer this month with Columbia United - he is on the Northhampton Town Cobblers. We love it as much as he does!! Miss Ashlynne!
...in action - look at that pink ball - she is our only girl on the team and we joke that she has a secret startegy - the first game she was over talking to the other boys in the middle of the field distracting them and last week she was in the other team's huddle...watch out Pats you may have some competition!!
Alan was so excited to be coach for the day with Ashlynne's dad - (Our coach had to miss a game so they filled in)
John David!
Justin! He and John David actually know what to do and take it all the way down the field when they get it - the rest will catch on soon!
Good kick AJ!
!!!!
The Pruitte's Genie and Jim all came to watch AJ's first game! He loved it! This is Bay with Jack!
AJ is definelty into the pictures - he called me over and said - take on like this and started posing!

September Shots

Playing in the treehouse - still the best present - they ar eso happy and we are out there a lot more since the deck has been done - little by little our back yard is coming along!

Dr. Boatwright - AJ got a stethoscope from Alan's Mom.
Go Huskers!!

Virginia Beach!!

Our vacation to Virginia Beach was great - we had so much fun!!
Go Gamecocks!! This is too funny - for all who know Jamie and Thad..this is not what they look like save for the brown and blonde hair. But we were walking down the boardwalk and AJ looked up and said "Jamie and Thad"...Alan and I thought it was so funny!

"Rock on Rock Star" is AJ's new favorite quote!

I love this picture..there is a picture in Alan's Baby Book of him on the couch and his dads leg is in it - it is the same leg as Alan's - I think AJ's wife will be saying this one day -- whoah - far far far from now!
Mermaid Mom
Warming up in Daddy's shirt!
Happy Jack! And tired Jack - he got lots of sleep in this weekend!

All smiles - a playground on the beach - what could be better!!??
Jack is so sweet!
Not one picture came out with them both looking at the camera!

Viginia Beach - 1/2 Marathon

The Virginia Beach Roack 'n Roll Half Marathon was great!! We are going to make this an annual event - we loved Virginia Beach - great beach with lots to do and the run..dare I say ..was so much fun! Sandy Gaughan had doen the San Diego Marathon a few months earlier sowe decided to sign for this. It was supposed to be my motivation to get in shape but that only lasted until July - then pretty much all training stopped! Good thing Sandy was there to keep me going!
This is not the end of the race (what are you supposed to run the whole time??!!)...just a quick water break with Sandy's mom and brother. Apparently the head of the pack was extra thirsty ... there was no water for the last 5 miles!! But like always a mom will come through and Sandy's was no exception -
Her brother Matt met them down in VA for the weekend. And was a savior afterwards to get us (stinky and tired and starving) away from the crowd!Running again!! But just for a moment - Alan AJ and Jack were at mile 1o..another pit stop!
AJ had signs made up - which he was quick to tell me were for Sandy - Geez - she had the VT fans, my son... good thing I had her. You can't imagine what a cheer can do for a tired body - by the end everytime I heard VT I waved and smiled with Sandy!
Jack was less than enthusiastic - of course he had been up all night with we later found out was an ear infection.
This blue hair guy wouldn't leave AJ alone - Alan tried to get around him to get a snap shot of us on the boardwalk at about 11.5 but this guy HAD to get a high 5 from AJ - who was scared of him!!Still going - Sandy had to talk me into keeping on near the end I figured I was right there by the hotel!! J/K I knew I would finish just don't know when it would have been without her!
Meeting the boys at the pool after Matt got us out of there!
Whew - it is hard work cheering for someone who is running 13 miles!! The boys sacked out for the rest of the afternoon!
