Jack's Baptism

We headed to Atlantic Beach Florida to visit my grandparents, Jack and Dorothy Miller and to have Jack baptized. On Sunday April 15 my Granddad performed the service at their church in Fleet Landing. Jack's Godparents are Gregg and Michelle Jones and Trisha and Shane Williams. Trish and Shane were there in spirit taking the vows with us. Mom, Mick, Delores, Kate, Gwen and Zachary also came.
It was so special to see my Granddad baptizing both of our sons - and Grandmom and mom read in the service too.
Unfortunately AJ was not feeling too well and cuddled up with Jack's blanket for most of the service.
Isn't she beautiful!! This is my Grandmom - can you believe she celebrated her 90th birthday on April 22!! We had a nice lunch with some of Gram and Gramps friends on Sunday - they were going to celebrate the following Tuesday with three friends who share birthdays around the same time.
Jack and Little Jack - G & G could hold these babies forever! I love watching their love for the boys!

Payton and Alfie

Payton Black and Alfie Hobbs were married April 6, 2007 in the Duke Gardens. Alan and I had fun cathcing up with Payton and her sisters and mom and Eric (Hilde) and meeting Payton's new family. It has been way too long - Payton was my best friend in high school.
Congratulations!!

Kate and Zachary Come

Yea! Kate and Zach came down for a few days! It was great - and AJ loved having friends at his table (Mom, Mick and Ryan built the red picnic table for AJ!)

It was fun seeing AJ and Zach playing together - and I think AJ liked having a little friend around that could actually move and interact!

Myrtle Beach

Gregg and Michelle got married in Garden City the last weekend in March. It was a beautiful wedding and a great weekend. Unfortunately we forgot our camera on Saturday so we will have to wait until they get their wedding pictures in to post those.

Alan went out with everyone Friday night and was so excited because he thought he took so many pictures ... he took three and they were all of Gregg in his big blue glasses!

We spent the Saturday morning on the beach making sand castles and crashing them - which was by far more fun!

Jack's first time on the beach and didn't open his eyes once to see it --
AJ loved playing with the kite even though Alan and I couldn't get it to stay up high - it fluttered along about three feet off the ground - I think AJ liked making us run back and forth trying to get the kite up as much as he did playing with the tail. I love this kite - Mandie and Aurora gave it to AJ for his bday last year - it is great!

In Gregg's honor we headed out for a round of golf before leaving on Sunday - doesn't he alerady look like a pro!

AJ & Jack

Everyone asks who Jack looks like.
That's easy....AJ!
Here are some examples-Can you tell who is who?

You were right if you said AJ was on the top in the first two series and the bottom picture in the bathtub.

Just Jack

3 weeks

I leave the room for 1 minute - and come back to this - it was so awful I had take a picture and post it - and probably bring it out to all of the future girlfriends! Apparently he had a lot going on in that minute!

A good excuse for a bath - he loves the water running over his head. He gets so peaceful - he is a Pisces.

It is somuch fun having a baby in the house again. I never realized how fast everything does change. When AJ was born things were slower at home, now I feel like we are caught in a whirlwind and when things do slow down Jack has hit a mini milestone in his little life.AJ is having fun being the BIG brother and likes to show how strong he is when he picks up Jack.

He helps with everything - keeping a blanket on Jack (at all times ..no wmatter how hot it is !!), giving him bottles etc. It is so sweet - we have heard him saying, "It's okay baby," or, "Oh sugar, are you okay?"

Now we have had some fun visits before but yall missed the big one. Would you believe that LIVE IN CONCERT right here at 29 Colony House Court was MISTER LINDSAY and her crew! What a show it was - duets and dancing by Mister Lindsay and the encore performance which featured Jimmy McQueen, Colby and Rich Mascaro and Big Boatwright. I have a bootleg video of the whole thing which I will show you next time you are over.
