We had a very relaxing July 4th at the Hardy's house with Rhett and Beaver! It was wonderful and quiet - just what we needed. Alan tried Squash soup...and liked it!!

My last pictures of Ashley pregnant!! Hollis Fitch was born July 12, 2007 and is gorgeous - with the cutest little nose. But I don't have pictures yet - I forgot my camera at the hospital - I will get them soon!

Helena and Anastasia were in town so we got the boys together at Saluda Shoals Park. Anastasia is beautifully pregnant again and Thomas and AJ had fun!

One Last Flip

A Hardy Pool Reunion !! Some of you probably remember those pictures of us the day AJ was born--my stomach was really ready to pop and we were at the Hardy's trying to keep cool. We haven't been back since then ...

AJ loves to swim now and jumps in by himself...Jack is very tolerant of being splashed in the face and having his toes tugged on!
We tried to get a photo of all four of us ...looking..at the same time..and smiling - this was as close as we could get! Everything is still great until...

Early Morning Dance Party

AJ is ready to dance when he gets up - he has been almost still for 10 hours! so he is extra wiggly...(although Pat who just watched the boys overnight will tell you his legs do not stop moving ALL night long). As we get breakfast ready he dances around the kitchen - he has a favorite CD or song of the month - In June it was Finnegan Bell. Check it out at www.finneganbell.com. AJ sings along with Shane and especially likes the song about Trisha!

How can we not be morning people while we watch him go??
The slippers are on every morning and are everything from slippers, to baseball boots to firemen shoes. They are way too small but he pulls and pulls until he gets them on! Apparently there isn't much of a market for slippers in the summer down here in South Carolina - nowhere has them in stock now!

Thank you again to all of our friends who got Alan and the boys the Jon Boat for our wedding - we love it! We actually get to keep it in the water at my boss's house (Rick) and have gone out a lot this spring and summer early in the morning before the lake gets busy. Love yall!!

Jack's First Boat Ride!
AJ is always wanting to get past "those white things, what are those white things, the boooooooeys, then we can go fast, let's go fast, let's get past the booooooeys..."
He is so sweet - both of them are so sweet - Alan to AJ and AJ to his daddy - there is nothing better than seeing them having fun together. AJ looks up at Alan just about the whole time we are on the water!
AJ's first swim in the lake - yikes - I was played part of the overly worried mom perfectly..smiling (a little) on the outside but going a million miles inside!
